Aussie Cars

Just a quick post today. I recently purchased two Road Rager models; a 1962 Ford XL wagon and a 1966 Ford XR sedan. These models are two of a wider range of Australian cars of the 1950’s to 1960’s. Produced in HO scale, they are nice reproductions of some iconic Australian automotive history.

The models have been lightly weathered, as they will be relatively ‘new’ when appearring on my circa late 1960’s to early 1970’s VR layout.

Hi Julian.
I really like how you've lightly weathered your Roadragers Ford cars to show normal daily use. As i have a big passion for Australian Chrysler Valiants, i've got a few of these but these will remain in their boxes as shelf models. The Roadragers 1/87 Aussie cars are brilliant models just to collect. I think their range is continually increasing so, this is an extra bonus for us Australian railway modelers.
Thanks for your great modeling. Just created my own blog but i don's have much on it yet. hannysmodels.blogsplot.com.au
Thanks.
